Bakura didn’t answer, and Marik kissed the back of his neck, trailing soft affectionate touches to the side, before nuzzling against his throat.
“I promise you, you have always been so, so beautiful…” He kissed his throat.
people always have it so bakura would have trouble saying ‘i love you’ but personally i think he’d over say it

he wouldn’t know how to define ‘love’ after everything that happened to him and, although he would slowly come to accept and understand that ‘love’ is a thing and an emotion, he wouldn’t be able to comprehend how meaningful it is at all.
and he wouldn’t really ever mean it. he’d say it a lot because he wouldn’t understand the strength behind those three words and he’d probably just use it as a way to get his own way
